The iconic Rainbow Taxi team is back for another revenge in the second season of the K-Drama "Taxi Driver."
The first season introduces us to Kim Do Ki (Lee Je Hoon), a former member of the Special Forces whose mother was murdered during his youth, who starts working as a Rainbow Taxi driver for a company that offers "revenge call" services to its clients seeking vengeance. The series revolves around Do Ki's path to understanding what true justice is.
In the new season, which premiered on February 17th, Kim Do Ki is back with a vengeance as Rainbow Taxi takes its services overseas to Vietnam.
With an engaging plot, the characters remain captivating and interesting, with the same essence we saw in the first season.
Trying to move on with their lives, the team is separated and working in "normal" jobs, or trying to, but the truth is they know where they truly belong — Rainbow Taxi.
It doesn't take long for them to realize this fact and come back together, as each of them has a quality that is essential for the team to be so incredible.
Kim Do Ki is sensational and remains true to his sense of justice, which is one of the highlights of this Korean drama. The way the taxi driver gets involved and does everything to get justice for those who need it is truly amazing.
The character can go from a serious taxi driver to a kind man in seconds, which is impressive to see.
The whole team remains brilliant and has great chemistry between them. Throughout the episodes, it is clear that they still consider themselves a family, despite being apart for a short period.
"Taxi Driver" is amazing and maintains its high quality in this new season. With action and emotional moments, the K-drama is undoubtedly one of the best and biggest surprises in the world of Korean dramas.
